From direct care of the shelter animals to working with fundraisers, special events or issues, there is always room for helping hands. The range of needs is broad, and every pair of hands is valued.

Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:
Day & evening kennel attendants. ALI is always in need of weekday volunteers to work with the dogs and cats
Shelter and Grounds Maintenance
Fundraising
Booth attendants at special events
Dog walkers and cat socialization
Pet Therapy
Computer data entry
Administrative support
Committee members
At the present time, the shelter is in need of volunteer personnel. Can you spare one day or evening a month? We know there is a lot of support for the shelter. If each person who cares would commit to just one day or evening our staffing needs could be easily met. Call us for more information.
